Rumor On Some Internal Concern Backstage About WWE Not Allowing Wrestling During Commercials

WWE tested out something new on RAW this week. They are no longer allowing any wrestling during commercial breaks on RAW and Smackdown. The rumor is that WWE wants to give their television shows more of a ‘sports’ feel moving forward.

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live (subscribe here), there is some internal concern about this new edict from Vince McMahon.

This was apparently a decision that Vince McMahon tossed out nonchalantly during a creative meeting. It was also noted by some in WWE that they wouldn’t be surprised if the new edict is dropped or forgotten about soon.
