Finn Balor has been used sparingly over the past several weeks on Smackdown Live. He was not used at the Stomping Grounds PPV and it also looks like he will be kept off Extreme Rules as well.
We have a rumor to pass your way about the WWE locker room frustration in regards to Finn.
According to a report from Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda, there are plenty of people backstage in WWE who are frustrated with Balor’s booking as of late.
Colohue says that Balor has some major support backstage from not only wrestlers in the company but also with the creative team. Here is what one source said about Balor not being used:
“He should be in main events or a wild card or something. Where is he?”
Another source added the following about Balor’s booking:
“Everything’s last minute with Finn. It’s like Vince forgets he’s there.”
My Take: I couldn’t agree more with this. Balor is someone who WWE should be using on a weekly basis. Especially since he is the current Intercontinental Champion. My hope is that WWE really gives us a great feud between Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura. They could both use some momentum right now.
