The Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia is almost here. This show is already different from what WWE fans are used to. From reports of seating restrictions to the VIP armchairs at ringside.
There is now a rumor floating around that the event could also feature an intermission.
Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), says that there could be a prayer intermission during the show. Here is a quote from Meltzer (via Ringside News):
“It may be longer, by normal traditions there’s going to be an hour intermission because they have a prayer hour which would take place in the middle of the show.”

The show is currently scheduled for around 6-hours including the kickoff show. It is unclear if an intermission would add extra time to the event or if it is included in those 6 hours. We will have to wait and see.
Take rumors with a grain of salt as always. Let’s also keep any religious debates out of this. We will let you know if we find out more information about the possible intermission.
