4) Nia Jax
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Nia Jax is also being listed internally by WWE for a January 2020 return.
Nia has been out of action for several months after tearing both of her ACLs. Her last match came at Wrestlemania 35, where she was involved in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match at the event.
Just like Ruby, Nia is another person to watch out for in the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble match. If Nia is healthy, WWE will likely keep her as a surprise return in the match.
3) The Undertaker
I think that The Undertaker could end up returning for the 2020 Royal Rumble PPV.
The reason why I say this is because the Rumble takes place in Houston’s baseball stadium. The Deadman is from Texas, so I am sure that he would love to perform at the event.
Having The Deadman in the Royal Rumble match could be a smart way to go. WWE could help set up ‘Taker’s match at Wrestlemania 36 during this. Plus, he would only need to be in the ring for a few minutes. I think that it works out for both parties.
2) Ronda Rousey
Ronda Rousey has been off WWE television since Wrestlemania 35. It has been made pretty clear that Ronda has been away from WWE because she is trying to start a family.
Several months have passed and there has been no news about Ronda being pregnant. As a result, we can’t officially rule her out for a return to the ring.
If Ronda does want to come back, there is a perfect opportunity at the Royal Rumble. She could win the Women’s Royal Rumble match and go on to challenge Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 36.
Becky vs Ronda is still a match that fans want to see and has money written all over it. My hopes are still high that this could happen.
