Roman Reigns Wanted To Play For The Chicago Bears, 400 Pound Football Player Wants WWE Career

In a recent interview with ChicagoBears.com, it was revealed that Roman Reigns wanted to play for the Chicago Bears after he visited the team. Roman Reigns played football at Georgia Tech in college. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings and the Jacksonville Jaguars before starting his professional wrestling career.

Here is what he said in the interview:

“I actually came up to Chicago and took a trip. I got to meet the head coach Lovie [Smith] at the time and I was sold. I wanted to be a Chicago Bear immediately. But unfortunately it didn’t work out, but we found the right team.”

LaQuan McGowan is a 6 foot 7, almost 400 pound lineman who played football for Baylor University. He is now entering the NFL Draft but has a post-career in mind if things don’t work out with football.

According to SBNation, McGowan wants to be a professional Wrestler if football doesn’t work out for him.

“I feel like once that’s over with, the WWE is calling my name”

He elaborates a little bit:

“I’ve watched it on TV. I’ve thought about, ‘What would be something good or something that I would enjoy doing for a decent, for a long period of time? For big guys in the NFL, they really don’t last that long.”
