Roman Reigns was forced out of the Tables, Ladders and Chairs Pay-Per-View after contracting the mumps. There have been many fans wondering what the status is of Reigns and if he will be participating in WWE’s European tour (which starts this week).
The last word was that Reigns would be tested before RAW to see if he is able to return to action. We have an update on Reigns thanks to a new report.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Reigns is NOT cleared to return to action.
Johnson reports that Reigns will not be at this week’s RAW taping and will not be participating in this week’s European tour. The main event of the live events this week have been changed from the Shield wrestling together to just Ambrose & Rollins defending their Tag Team Titles.
Johnson says that a source tells him that the hope within the WWE is that he will be cleared before Survivor Series.
Rumors suggested that Reigns would be the captain of Team RAW if he was cleared. It is unclear if WWE will change these plans or not.
Regardless, the health of Reigns is most important and hopefully he is able to return sooner than later. We will let you know if we hear anything more.
