3) Roman Reigns And The Undertaker Go After The Tag Team Titles
Roman Reigns and the Undertaker defeated Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon at Extreme Rules. The Deadman put on a solid performance, proving that he still has some gas left in the tank.
Maybe Roman and the Undertaker stay together as a team? Could be fun to see them team together again at Summerslam.
This actually doesn’t sound like a bad option to me. Either tag team division could use the star power of Roman and the Undertaker. As of right now, there isn’t a tag team title match confirmed for the event, so the opportunity is there if WWE wants it.
2) Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens vs Shane McMahon, Drew McIntyre, and Elias
Another option that I see is for Roman to remain involved in the feud between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens. Owens and Roman were supposed to face off on Smackdown this week. This didn’t end up happening and they teamed up to attack Shane McMahon, Drew McIntyre, and Elias to end the episode. From their brief time together, Owens and Roman appeared to make a pretty good team. Maybe WWE keeps them together for Summerslam?
Instead of Owens vs Shane, we could maybe see this turn into a multi-person match. That would be Kevin and Roman vs Shane, Drew, and Elias.
This would take away from the Owens and Shane feud that is currently going on. Still, it would be a solid option if they want to get Roman on the card.
The ending of this week’s episode of Smackdown Live left this one as an option in my mind.
