10) Last To Sleep, First In The Gym
After reading these stories of Flair’s antics, you would have to wonder how he was able to stay in such great physical condition. As many fans know, Flair would wrestle long matches every night and would never miss a beat.
Jim Ross praises his ability to wake up after a long night of partying and hit the gym:
“He could operate on a higher level with less sleep than just about anybody I’ve seen — other than Vince McMahon. He’d get up early in the morning, go to the gym, and do over an hour of cardio. He and Ricky Steamboat used to have contests with each other on the Stairmaster machines that bordered on suicidal”
Ross also praised the Four Horsemen’s ability to party all night, wake up, hit the gym and wrestle the best match on the card:
“The amazing aspect of this group is that after a long night of recreation, they would rise early, hit the gym and hit it hard to get ready to start all over again. Then, that night, no matter where it was or who it was against, The Horsemen would go out and steal the show while putting on a clinic”
