Report On WWE Potentially Hosting Two Wrestlemania Events In One Year

WWE made a major splash in 2018, holding two Royal Rumble events in the same year for the first time ever. The first came in its usual spot in January. The second was the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia that took place in April.

According to a new report, this could be a format that WWE is looking to do for Wrestlemania.

This news comes from Jon Fisher of BarnBurner.ca. According to Fisher, WWE is planning on holding two WrestleMania events in one year before 2020.

The report says that there isn’t a definite name for the second event just yet but it will be similar to the Royal Rumble and Greatest Royal Rumble idea. The report says that the first event will take place in April and the second will happen in October.

There are reportedly three locations being discussed to host the second event: Saudi Arabia, London, and Australia.

Take with a grain of salt for now. WWE is coming into some big money from their new television deals in 2019 which certainly makes things interesting.

We will let you know if any more information on the topic comes to light. How would you feel if that were the case?
