Report: AJ Styles Is Currently Negotiating With WWE

AJ Styles recently lost the WWE Championship to Daniel Bryan. This ended Styles’ reign at 371 days, which ties him with Randy Savage for the 8th longest WWE Title reign in history.

After losing the WWE Championship, Styles did not appear at the Survivor Series PPV on Sunday night.

According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Styles is currently negotiating a new contract with WWE.

Sapp says that Styles wants a reduced schedule, similar to what Randy Orton currently has. This would mean that Styles would still work television but would be appearing at fewer live events.

According to one of Sapp’s sources, WWE and Styles are negotiating a new three-year deal. The source also says that Styles was in favor of dropping the WWE Championship in order to spend some more time with his family.

The report also says that with WWE’s new television deals, many Superstars are expecting a pay raise, and/or a reduction of their schedules.

We will let you know when we hear anything more on Styles and his new contract with WWE.
