The big news of the day on Friday in the wrestling world is that ‘Talking Smack’ has been cancelled as a weekly show. The show will be changing from after Smackdown Live each week, to after Pay-Per-View events. This will be similar to what WWE does with ‘RAW Talk’ at the moment.
WWE released a statement about the future of ‘Talking Smack’ and it looks like it is a done deal. This news has upset a lot of wrestling fans who say it was one of the best parts of Smackdown Live.
It appears as if WWE brass didn’t tell host of the show: Renee Young that it was being cancelled. Here was her tweet about how she found out about the cancellation.
Hmmmm that’s one way to get news. https://t.co/sNIYUZfD7N

She also says she is disappointed:
Really disappointed about #TalkingSmack. We tried to make that show great. Guess I’ll go back to welcoming my guest at this time.
