- Dean Ambrose kicks off RAW with the Ambrose Asylum segment. He talks a bit to the crowd and introduces Shane McMahon!
- Kevin Owens interrupts followed by Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho. Shane McMahon announced Sami Zayn will take on Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho will take on Dean Ambrose at WWE Payback! Shane announced Sami Zayn vs Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens vs Dean Ambrose in the main event TONIGHT.
- Chris Jericho defeated Sami Zayn via Codebreaker.
- Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows interrupt a backstage interview with AJ Styles. Anderson and Gallows make it clear that they have AJ’s back at WWE Payback.
- Enzo and Cass defeated the Dudley Boyz to advance in the WWE Tag Team Tournament.
- Roman Reigns comes to the ring and cuts his usual promo about being ‘THE GUY’. AJ Styles interrupts him. KARL ANDERSON AND LUKE GALLOWS ATTACK REIGNS out of nowhere!!!!
- Backstage segment where AJ Styles tells Roman Reigns that he had nothing to do with the Gallows and Anderson attack.
- Baron Corbin defeated Fandango. Dolph Ziggler was on commentary. Ziggler attacks Corbin after the match but gets laid out.
- The Miz and Maryse come out for Miz TV. Special guest is Cesaro. The League of Nations interrupt followed by the New Day, leading to Cesaro and the New Day vs the Miz and the League of Nations.
- Cesaro and the New Day defeated the League of Nations and the Miz.
- Natalya will have BRET HART in her corner for WWE Payback!
- Sasha Banks, Natalya, Becky Lynch and Paige defeat Summer Rae, Naomi, Tamina and Summer Rae after Nattie taps out Charlotte via Sharpshooter.
- The Vaudevillians defeated the Usos to advance to the finals of the WWE Tag Team Tournament.
- Apollo Crews defeated Heath Slater.
- Kevin Owens vs Dean Ambrose in the main event. Ambrose wins with Dirty Deeds. Jericho hits the Codebreaker on Ambrose to end the show.
