3) New United States Champion Contender

In the opening match of the night, Sami Zayn faced off against United States Champion: Chris Jericho in a non-title match.

Both guys put on a solid match. Sami eventually was able to fight out of the ‘Walls of Jericho’ and hit the ‘Helluva Kick’ for the 1-2-3.

It looks like Sami Zayn has earned himself a shot at Jericho’s U.S title after pinning the champion.

I certainly am not going to complain about Zayn potentially winning a title! Am looking forward to seeing them face off again and would love to see Sami with some gold.
