Bobby Roode and Tye Dillinger opened NXT Takeover Toronto with a bang, earning the 3rd spot on our list of best matches from NXT Takeover Toronto.

Toronto is considered a home arena for both guys (Dillinger from Niagara Falls, Roode from Peterborough). The crowd was incredibly receptive to both!

It all started with Bobby Roode’s GLORIOUS entrance with the choir singing his music. This was followed by consistent chants of ‘10’ towards Dillinger (that lasted all weekend I must add).

This was an entertaining match between both guys. Bobby Roode ended up picking up the victory. The crowd was invested for the entire thing and both guys looked very good!

Dillinger received a standing ovation after the loss from his hometown fans. It was a great match that kick-started an incredible night of matches. For that, it earns the number 3 spot on our list.
