Ranking the Matches of NXT Takeover Toronto From WORST To BEST

4) Mickie James vs Asuka

NXT Women’s Championship

Mickie James returned to a WWE ring for the first time since 2010 to take on Asuka for the NXT Women’s Championship.

It looked as if Mickie didn’t miss a beat, showing off why she is considered one of the best females to ever step inside of a WWE ring. Asuka looked good as she always does, putting on another dominating performance.

Mickie lost the match but probably gave Asuka the toughest challenge so far in her NXT career. Mickie also proved that she is still able to compete with the top women in WWE and could be an asset on either RAW or Smackdown’s roster.

Not a bad match by any means. With the competition that the rest of the card produced, it is only ranked at number 4 on our list. It seemed like the ending was a bit off and they might have got cut for time.

On another card this might have been higher but at NXT Takeover Toronto, it ranks as only the 4th best of the night.
