Tonight’s episode of Smackdown will be taking place in Birmingham, Alabama. This show will continue the build towards the TLC PPV.

According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, Elias is backstage at Smackdown right now. Here is what Johnson wrote:
Elias, who has been out injured since September with an ankle injury, is backstage at Friday Night Smackdown in Birmingham, Alabama.
As of this writing, there is no confirmation whether Elias, who was not drafted to a specific brand during the most recent WWE Draft, was there to be evaluated by WWE medical or whether he’s appearing on Smackdown tonight. He had been slated earlier this month to be evaluated by WWE medical.
Johnson also says that Sheamus is backstage at Smackdown right now. Here is what he wrote:
Former WWE Champion Sheamus is backstage at Smackdown in Birmingham, Alabama.
Sheamus has been out of action since Wrestlemania 35, but was on the road for the company over Survivor Series weekend, where he made promotional appearances.
