Dean Ambrose made his return to Monday Night RAW this past week, coming to the aid of Seth Rollins. Dean had been out of action since December of 2017 after tearing his triceps. Dean will be in the corner of Seth at Summerslam when he challenges Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship.
We have a potential spoiler to pass your way about Dean Ambrose’s match at the Hell in a Cell PPV.
Over the past few weeks, the AT&T Center in San Antonio has been advertising matches for the Hell in a Cell event. They have mentioned AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe, Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens and Jeff Hardy vs Randy Orton. They are now advertising Dean’s match for the event:
– Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre!
Our Take: This was the direction that I figured they would go. While saying that, I wasn’t sure if they would do this match on an episode of Monday Night RAW or save it for Hell in a Cell. A tag team match certainly seems like where this storyline is heading.
I know that some fans have speculated that Dean could turn on Seth on Sunday but I am on the side who says that it is too soon. There are still some stories to tell with Dean and Seth aligned over the next several months.
