This week’s episode of Smackdown will be taking place at the WWE ThunderDome. This will be the final episode prior to the Survivor Series PPV, which takes place on Sunday night.
We have a potential spoiler to pass your way about the episode. This has to do with the men’s elimination match at the event.
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), Big E was originally planned to be the final member of the Smackdown men’s team. A qualifying match involving Big E was supposed to air on Smackdown last week but it was pulled due to time constraints:
There was a plan for his qualifying match to air on the November 13 episode of Smackdown before it was pulled due to time constraints.
By the sounds of it, it seems like Big E will get confirmed for the team during this next episode. That means he would join Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso and King Corbin on Team Smackdown.
