Paul Heyman has done and seen it all in the wrestling business. From running his own promotion, to writing shows to performing on screen, he has worn a lot of hats in wrestling. For this reason, we take Paul’s opinion seriously!
In a recent interview with Awful Announcing, Heyman was asked who he thinks is the most underrated superstar of all time. Here is what he said:
“When people say the greatest in-ring performer of all-time is Ric Flair, or some people say the greatest in-ring performer of all-time is Shawn Michaels, I do not agree with them. I don’t think they bring the legitimacy Brock Lesnar brings, I don’t think they’re able to do the things Brock Lesnar is able to do. I think Brock Lesnar is the most underrated, under-appreciated performer in the history of WWE, pro wrestling, or sports entertainment”
He continues:
“I don’t think people understand the level of performance he brings, I don’t think people understand just how great Brock Lesnar is. I think we’re only scratching the surface in demonstrating what his abilities are. I think Brock Lesnar can do anything. I think Brock Lesnar can just stand there and make people mesmerized by his presence as evidenced by the fact that most of the time we’re on television that’s what he does – he just has to stand there! And people are in awe of him.”

Brock does bring a ton of legitimacy to the wrestling business as he is a former UFC star and legitimate monster.
Let us know if you agree with Paul. If not, let us know who you think is the most underrated wrestler of all time is.
Mr. Perfect should have been a world champion at least once.
*cue some guy who knows he was WCBBCGHWB Heavyweight Champion when he was 21*
AWA World Heavyweight Champion, WWC Universal (World) Heavyweight Champion, and I-Generation World Heavyweight Champion twice. He won 4 World Titles
I was thinking more main stream… but thanks.
AWA was very mainstream, that WWE bought them and shut it down because they were afraid AWA would go against them.
okay bro… you win! hennig AWA champ is common knowledge for ANY wrestling fan.
Would had won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in TNA if he didn’t OD’d himself
