Old Stipulation Match Being Considered For TLC

As noted prior, the Target Center in Minnesota is currently advertising King Corbin vs Roman Reigns for the TLC PPV. They have been feuding for a few weeks now and it would make sense for them to face off at this event.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), WWE is considering an interesting stipulation for the match.

Meltzer says that a ‘dog collar match” has been discussed by WWE. Here is what he wrote:

It will be a gimmick match but the gimmick has not been decided upon. It could be tables ladders or chairs, but dog collar match has also been up for consideration.

This comes after Corbin mocked Reigns on Smackdown and said that he was more like a chihuahua. There do seem to be some hints that WWE could be trending in this direction.

For anybody confused, the stipulation would see Corbin and Reigns chained together while wearing dog collars. The last one I can remember was Perry Saturn vs Chris Jericho at WCW’s Uncensored PPV in 1999.

How would you feel about a dog collar match? Let me know in the comment section below.
