— Ladder Match For The Vacant NXT Tag Team Championships
After the Viking Raiders vacated the Titles, we are set for a ladder match to determine the new Champions. It will be the Street Profits vs the Undisputed Era vs The Forgotten Sons vs Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch.
NXT ladder matches are usually a ton of fun and I am expecting nothing different here. My guess is that this will be a wild and entertaining match. I am happy for all of the teams (other than the Undisputed Era) as they haven’t really been given a chance to shine at Takeover events.
I am going with the Street Profits winning as I think that it is their time to shine in NXT.
Winner Prediction: The Street Profits win.
2) Shayna Baszler vs Io Shirai
— NXT Women’s Championship
Shayna Baszler vs Io Shirai has been confirmed for the event for the NXT Women’s Championship.
It feels like I have been picking Shayna Baszler to lose the Title for the past few Takeover specials. Every time, she has proven me wrong.
I am going with my gut though and saying that Io will become the new Women’s Champion here. Shayna will be called up to the WWE main roster after this, as she is clearly ready to make the jump in my eyes.
As for match quality, this should be pretty solid. I am a fan of both, so I am excited to watch this one.
Winner Prediction: Io Shirai wins.
