Here is what we learned from NXT Takeover: WarGames.
1) “War Pigs” Is A Perfect Theme Song For WarGames!
NXT Takeover: WarGames kicked off with an awesome video package. The theme song for the show was “War Pigs” by Black Sabbath.
War Pigs needs to be the theme song every year! That was an awesome intro and it is a perfect fit.
2) Shotzi Blackheart Came Out In A Tank
The episode opened with the Women’s WarGames match: Shotzi Blackheart, Ember Moon, Rhea Ripley, and Io Shirai vs Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Raquel Gonzalez, and Toni Storm.
There were some great entrances before this match. None better than Shotzi Blackheart though, who came out in a tank.
3) Indi Hartwell Helped Out Team Candice
Women’s WarGames turned into a handicap match. This came after Indi Hartwell showed up and took out Io Shriai.
Hartwell also locked Shirai out of the cage.
