Bianca Belair vs Rhea Ripley has been officially confirmed for Takeover: Portland. This will be for the NXT Women’s Championship.
This should be a really good match. I am sure that both ladies will try and steal the show and they are definitely capable of it.
A little extra tidbit about this match is it looks like the winner will face Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania 36. As a result, this raises the stakes that much higher.
Winner Prediction:
- Rhea Ripley will likely win this match as she just won the belt. I don’t see WWE taking it off her right away. After the match, I am expecting Charlotte Flair to confront Rhea to tease their match at Wrestlemania 36.
1) Adam Cole vs Tommaso Ciampa
— NXT Championship (CONFIRMED)
It has been confirmed that Takeover: Portland will feature Adam Cole vs Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Championship.
This should be a really good match. Both Ciampa and Cole always seem to deliver at Takeover specials. I am sure that this match will be no different.
This will most likely be the main event. It will also likely be really, really good. I can’t wait.
Winner Prediction:
- I am going with Tommaso Ciampa winning his belt back. This would potentially set up Tommaso Ciampa vs Finn Balor for the next Takeover special (after Balor defeats and attacks Johnny Gargano).
