6) Keith Lee vs Dominik Dijakovic
— NXT North American Championship (CONFIRMED)
WWE has officially confirmed the NXT North American Championship match for Takeover: Portland. It will be Keith Lee vs Dominik Dijakovic.
I am expecting an incredible match as they both have some amazing chemistry with one another. We have seen these guys put on multiple great matches and I can’t wait to see what they are able to do on a big stage like a Takeover special.
This is a match that could easily steal the show.
Winner Prediction:
- I am going with Keith Lee winning to retain his Title. I see Lee going on a lengthy reign as Champion so he won’t drop it here.
5) Johnny Gargano vs Finn Balor
— Singles Match (CONFIRMED)
Finn Balor vs Johnny Gargano has been officially confirmed for Takeover: Portland. This match was supposed to happen at Takeover: WarGames but the neck injury to Gargano forced it to be called off. Even though we had to wait longer than expected, we are finally going to see them face off.
This is a match that has a really good chance of stealing the show. Both guys are incredibly talented and Gargano always seems to put on classic matches at Takeover events. I am sure that this one will be no different.
Winner Prediction
- I am going with Finn Balor winning here. He is being built up as one of the top heels in NXT, so I think that it makes more sense for him to win. I would also have Balor destroy Gargano after the match to generate some extra heel heat.
