4) Velveteen Dream Had An Awesome Entrance
Velveteen Dream came to the ring dressed as the Statue of Liberty. This was fitting as the event took place in New York City.
I love Dream and this was a fantastic entrance.
5) A Matt Riddle Heel Turn May Have Been Teased
The second match of the night was between Velveteen Dream and Matt Riddle for the NXT North American Championship.
During the match, it felt like they were teasing a Riddle heel turn. He was acting a bit heelish at points during the match. Could this have been a hint at his future?
6) Velveteen Dream Paid Tribute To Hulk Hogan
During the match, Velveteen Dream paid tribute to Hulk Hogan. This came after he ‘Hulked Up’ on Riddle.
This marks another Takeover event that Dream has paid homage to Hogan.
