Here is what we learned from NXT Takeover: New York.
1) The Opening Match Was Incredible
The first match of the night was for the NXT Tag Team Titles. The War Raiders faced off against Ricochet and Aleister Black.
This turned out to be a damn good tag team match. An incredible performance from all 4 guys! Wow, what a way to start the show.
2) The War Raiders Retained The NXT Tag Team Titles
After a great match, the War Raiders were able to retain their Titles. This came after they hit ‘the Fallout’ for the win.
The War Raiders are still our NXT Tag Team Champions.
3) Ricochet & Aleister Black Said Goodbye To NXT In A Nice Moment
After the match, we got to see a nice moment. The crowd gave Aleister Black and Ricochet a standing ovation and thanked them for their service in NXT.
These two are main roster bound and this was a very nice send-off for them.
