Did you miss NXT Takeover: New Orleans? Were you a bit too drunk to remember everything that happened? If so, you have come to the right place. We have written up an extensive NXT Takeover New Orleans Review. This includes pictures, videos, gifs, and Tweets from the event. The goal is to recap storyline developments and future matches being teased. We also include some awesome moments from the show.

NXT Takeover New Orleans Review – Things That We Learned From The Show:

1) Pat McAfee Was Great On The Kickoff Show

Former NFL player Pat McAfee was a guest host of the NXT Takeover kickoff show. For those who don’t know him, he was the punter for the Indianapolis Colts for a few years. He now works for Barstool Sports.

Pat had a lot of energy and passion on the kickoff. I enjoyed his sense of humor.

2) A Rare Referee Interview

We usually don’t get to see much personality from WWE referees. On the kickoff show, WWE referee Drake Wuertz was interviewed about his role in the unsanctioned match between Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano.

Not often that we get to see personality from referees. Always fun to see.

3) Drew McIntyre Returned On The Kickoff Show

Former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre was a guest on the kickoff show. We haven’t seen him since he injured his bicep several months ago in his match against Andrade Almas.

McIntyre teased his return and also said that he wants to face off against Almas when he is back. Looking forward to seeing Drew back in the ring!

4) The NXT North American Title Looks Great

NXT officially introduced the new North American Championship at Takeover: New Orleans. Before the match, the title belt was displayed and it is really nice looking.

5) Ricochet Received A Major Pop From The Crowd

Ricochet made his NXT Takeover debut in New Orleans. He received a major pop from the crowd before his music even hit. One heck of a start for him and his NXT career. He is going to be a star.
