Karrion Kross ended up winning the match via submission. This came after he choked out Tommaso Ciampa.
This was a really dominant performance from Kross.
17) Women Main Evented A Takeover For The First Time Since 2015
The main event of the show was for the NXT Women’s Championship. It was Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley vs Io Shirai.
This is only the second time in NXT history that a women’s match has main evented a Takeover special. The first was Bayley vs Sasha Banks at NXT Takeover: Respect in 2015.
18) Io Shirai Jumped Off The House!
A big bump happened during the women’s match. Io Shirai ended up jumping off the top of the house.
