9) ‘CM Punk’ Chants Were Booed!
Since the event was in Chicago, it was expected that there would be a lot of CM Punk chants. This was especially expected during Hideo Itami’s match.
It turned out that ‘CM Punk’ chants would start throughout the night but they would be drowned out by boo’s from the crowd.
Also well done to those fans who boo’d the CM Punk chants. Faith in humanity restored ?? #NXTTakeOverChicago

I personally was surprised that we didn’t hear a lot more chants for Punk.
10) Bobby Roode Retained!
Bobby Roode was able to to hit two Glorious DDT’s to pick up the win against Hideo Itami. As a result, Roode is STILL the NXT Champion.
The ‘Glorious’ Era is still underway in NXT!
