1) “Taylor Bate”
Tyler Bate faced off against Pete Dunne at NXT Takeover: Chicago. A number of fans noticed that Bate was referred to as ‘Taylor Bate’ throughout the kickoff show by Charly Caruso.
This didn’t make too many fans happy as you will see in the following tweets:
5 minutes into the pre-show and they’ve called him Taylor Bate twice ? #NXTTakeOverChicago

Can someone tell Charley that his name is TYLER Bate not TAYLOR. #NXTTakeOverChicago #NXTTakeOver

I like Charly so I will give her a pass on that one. Tough way to start the night though.
2) Asuka Almost Killed Ember Moon (According To Ember)
Ember Moon was interviewed on the kickoff show for NXT Takeover. Ember was tossed out of the ring by Asuka during an episode of NXT a few weeks ago. She suffered an injury and as a result, was unable to compete in the title match.
Ember said that her injury could have been ‘fatal’ on the kickoff show:
Did Ember Moon just say “it could have been fatal?” SHES LUCKY TO BE ALIVE BAH GAWD! #NXTTakeOver

Ember Moon a bit over the top saying it could have been fatal ?#NXTTakeoverChicago #WomenChampionship

Maybe a bit exaggerated but a good way to put over Asuka as a threat!
