NXT Takeover Brooklyn 2018 Predictions

3) Adam Cole Will Retain The NXT North American Championship

Adam Cole will defend his NXT North American Championship against Ricochet. This should be a really fun match between two strong competitors. This will certainly be one to watch out for as the potential match of the night.

I think that Cole will be walking out as Champion. Triple H has said in interviews that he is extremely high on Cole and I think that he will be keeping the Title on him for the time being.

It should be a great match but I think Cole will end up winning.

2) Ciampa vs Gargano Will Main Event The Show

Tommaso Ciampa will defend his NXT Championship against Johnny Gargano in a Last Man Standing match. This was originally supposed to be a triple threat match but Aleister Black was injured and had to be pulled.

I am guessing that this match will be main eventing the show. This is probably the most obvious prediction on the list. Gargano and Ciampa have main evented the past few Takeover events and I doubt that will change.

1) Ciampa vs Gargano Will End In A Draw

I have gone back and forth on what I think will happen in the match between Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. I think Black getting hurt really tossed a wrench into the long-term storyline plans.

To me, it feels too soon to take the Title off of Ciampa. I also don’t think Gargano should lose clean. My gut says that this match will end as a draw, with both of them knocking each other out.

Triple H will be extremely familiar with this finish. The Last Man Standing match between Triple H and Shawn Michaels ended in a draw at the 2004 Royal Rumble. I see WWE doing something similar here.

I think this will lead to either Black vs Gargano vs Ciampa at the next Takeover or a Hell in a Cell match between Gargano and Ciampa for all of the marbles.
