As noted prior, Io Shirai turned heel at Wednesday night’s NXT taping. Io was defeated by Shayna Baszler in their steel cage match for the NXT Women’s Title. After the match, Io attacked Candice LeRae, who was trying to help her during the match.
NXT also held a taping on Thursday night. This time, Shirai showed off a new (heel) theme song.
