Note On WWE’s Plan For The Street Profits On RAW

The Street Profits have now made several appearances on Monday Night RAW. All of their appearances have been in backstage segments.

We have a backstage note to pass your way about WWE’s plans for the Street Profits.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), WWE is not planning for them to wrestle on RAW. Here is what he wrote:

At this point, at least for now, there are no plans for The Street Profits to do anything but what they are doing on Raw, meaning no plans for them to wrestle at this time on Raw. By wearing the NXT tag titles in all of their segments, while this is not the main reason they’re on the show, it is considered an advertisement for NXT and that if you like them and want to see them, that NXT is where you see them wrestle

As reported prior, WWE also feels like the Street Profits will help with the teenage demographic.

My Take: I actually don’t mind what WWE is doing with them. This is something unique for them to get over in the long-term and it seems to be working so far. They have been pretty fun in their RAW appearances and I would like to see more of them.
