Sin Cara took to social media on Monday to publicly ask for his release from WWE. He Tweeted that he was grateful for his time with the company but feels like it is time for him to move on.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Sin Cara will NOT be granted his release by WWE. Here is what Johnson wrote about how WWE is handling his request:
WWE sources have indicated to PWInsider.com that Sin Cara’s release request is, as of this writing, not going to be approved.
We are also told that while he was initially slated to go to TV at the end of the European tour, he will instead be going home and will not be working Raw in Boston, MA next week.
In an earlier update, Johnson also noted that Sin Cara’s current contract with WWE is for three more years:
We are told Sin Cara, who announced today he had requested his WWE release, has three years remaining on his current WWE deal.
