We have a rumor pass your way about the location of the next two Wrestlemania events. This is not including Wrestlemania 36, which has already been confirmed to be taking place in Tampa Bay.
The rumor making the rounds is that one of the next few Wrestlemania events will be taking place in Los Angeles.
Dave Meltzer provided some more details about this in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here).
According to Meltzer, the current rumor is that Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park will host either Wrestlemania 37 or 38. The stadium holds around 70,000 people and is brand-new.
The city of Los Angeles wants it to take place at 37 (2021) in order to use it as a test run for the Super Bowl. The Stadium will be hosting the Super Bowl in 2022 and want to use Wrestlemania the year prior to work out any potential kinks from a tourist standpoint.
On the other hand, WWE wants Los Angeles to host Wrestlemania 38 (2022) because they want to be able to beat the attendance number from the Super Bowl.
Regardless, it looks like Los Angeles will be getting one of the next few Wrestlemania events. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below.
