Big Cass was released by WWE on June 19th. This news came as a pretty big surprise as Cass was involved in a big storyline with Daniel Bryan prior to his release. Cass has a 90-day no-compete clause, which will remain in effect until the middle of September.
Cass has been announced for a new independent show for Big Time Wrestling on September 21st. He is being promoted using a new name.
