Top 5 Reasons Why Triple H Creating A New Version Of The Authority Is ‘Best For Business’

4. It Won’t Overshadow Kevin Owens

A few weeks ago on RAW, we saw the demise of the friendship between Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho. I’ll be completely honest, I am sad about this happening as they were easily the best thing going on RAW ever since the brand split. With Chris Jericho being out of the picture at Fastlane, it looks like the possibility of Goldberg winning the WWE Universal championship just increased drastically, and whether or not it’ll be a squash match remains to be seen.

During their time as a team, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho were doing the best segments on RAW and the iconic duo were a good part of drawing the ratings for the show. In the eyes of many fans, it didn’t really help Kevin Owens as champion. Chris Jericho was interfering in every championship match that Kevin Owens had, and that’s not an exaggeration. While it is a heels way of winning, people would’ve liked to see him get some clean wins.

Some may argue that this will be the same issue for when Kevin Owens may become a part of the New Authority faction, and while this is true it’s highly unlikely in my opinion. Kevin Owens’s primary focus is to remain the Authority’s champion (similar to The Rock being the “Corporate Champion” back in the Attitude Era.) while Samoa Joe focuses on destroying people who get in the way of the Authority, he would be the enforcer.

Triple H should not be involved in the matches between Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe UNLESS it is a match with Seth Rollins, which would further progress the feud between “The Architect” and “The King of Kings.” Kevin Owens has a chance to not be overshadowed by his partners, and I believe it could lead to something really good and beneficial to his character and career.

  1. The Authority should go away very long time ago, plus definitely no for female member, we may even see Joe and KO interfering during women matches
