WWE announced on Tuesday afternoon that Elias is injured and has been pulled from the King of the Ring tournament. He was scheduled to face Chad Gable in the semi-finals on Smackdown tonight.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Elias is dealing with a legitimate injury. Here is what Johnson wrote:
PWInsider.com has confirmed with sources that the injury is to Elias’ ankle and the decision was made today not to let him perform.
