A big story over the past few days has been the Revival reportedly asking from their release from WWE. This reportedly came after their match on RAW this past week.
We have some more details to pass your way about the Revival. This comes via a report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet.
According to the report, the Revival’s decision to ask for their release was based on how little time and respect that the tag team division is given.
They are reportedly unhappy with “the lack of promos, backstage segments and direction of the division”. Not just for themselves but for the entire tag team division.
Satin says that the Revival were very unhappy at RAW this past week with Bobby Roode and Chad Gable not being featured on the show. This is despite Roode and Gable being the RAW Tag Team Champions. This was a factor that led to the Revival asking for their release.
There has apparently been communication between WWE and the Revival since RAW on Monday. It is unclear though if the issues will be resolved. As of right now, they are not expected to be granted their release.
