4) King Corbin
King Corbin is someone who has won the briefcase in the past. Unfortunately for him, he failed his cash-in and didn’t become World Champion.
Since Corbin is a heel, I could see him winning the briefcase again and trolling Braun Strowman for the next several months. WWE likes to give the briefcase to heels, so it is hard to rank him any lower than this.
Personally, I think it would be lame for Corbin to win the briefcase again but I wouldn’t put it past WWE. I think that Corbin has a decent chance to win and he comes in at number four on my list.
Likelihood Of Him Winning: 3/10
3) Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio is likely ranked higher on my list than yours. I actually think that Rey has a decent chance to walk out with the briefcase this year.
The only reason why I say this is because Mysterio’s career is coming to an end soon. This could be his final storyline in WWE, where he wins the briefcase and goes for one final World Championship reign. To me, that is a better storyline than Otis, Daniel Bryan, or King Corbin winning the briefcase.
Rey could announce his cash-in (in advance) for a PPV like Summerslam. That would give us Rey Mysterio vs Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship in the main event. Rey could even spice things up and put his career on the line if he loses. This would be something different than the surprise cash-in that we have seen many times in a row now.
I am not putting money on Rey to win but the storyline would be better than the previous three names that I mentioned.
Likelihood Of Him Winning: 4/10
