Mandy Rose was recently interviewed by the Mirror. This was in order to promote Fastlane and her match against Asuka for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
Below are some of the highlights from the interview.
Mandy on if she feels pressure during her recent push:
“Yeah, I definitely feel the pressure. Coming up this Sunday is my first singles match on a pay-per-view, and there’s a lot of pressure for me to perform. Obviously, I know that I’m ready and I know what I’m capable of, I have the confidence and I know I’m going to do my best to win that SmackDown Women’s Title.”
Mandy on the backstage reaction to the Women’s Elimination Chamber match:
“We had a huge reaction and great feedback from that match. We were in there from the very beginning to the very end, and it was a great showing for Sonya and I. We really got to show what we’re capable of and it was really an amazing match for the both of us. I was really thankful for the opportunity, but we’re not done and we’re still going for those tag team titles.”
On possibly becoming champion:
“I would make it relevant again because unfortunately sometimes this happens, and there can be more talk of one brand than the other.
On a related note, WWE botched the match graphic for Mandy vs Asuka. You can read more about that here.
