Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that 205 Live has undergone some major changes behind-the-scenes over the past few weeks. Let us explain.
The biggest change according to the report from Johnson is that Vince McMahon has stepped aside and is no longer personally putting the show together.
So who is taking his place?
Johnson reports that Triple H is now in charge of 205 Live. You may have noticed over the past few weeks that the show feels more similar to what the Cruiserweight Classic was. Triple H’s focus is more on in-ring work and competition, while Vince was focusing on bringing out the Cruiserweight’s personalities.

Johnson says that over the past two weeks, Triple H has been completely in-charge. There is always a chance that Vince could take back control (since he owns the company) but for right now it is completely under Triple H’s vision. The report also says that the last few weeks are more in line with what the original vision for 205 Live was before Vince got personally involved.
The focus for the next few months will be to present strong athletic characters and focusing on in-ring competition to rebuild the show.
Will be interesting to see how it goes.
