Lucha Underground Season 3 Episode 7 – “It’s Payback Time” 10/19/16 Results

The Show Opens with a montage recapping certain feuds like: the Mil Muertes vs Prince Puma feud, Johnny Mundo trying to get a match with Sexy Starr for the Gift of the Gods Championship, Killshot receiving an envelope with the message “You Left Me For Dead” and Dario Cueto’s Dial of Doom and whomever the dial lands on gets a match for the Lucha Underground Championship against Dario’s brother Matanza.

Backstage segment between Vampiro and Prince Puma where Puma, who has started to wear a black mask and tights since Ultima Lucha 2 when he faced Rey Mysterio. Puma told Vampiro that he wanted nothing to do with him and that he did not want him to get involved in his match against Mil Muertes. He’d rather die at Muertes’s hands rather than live at the hands of Vampiro but Vampiro gave Puma an ominous prediction that “Muertes would die in his hands”.

The Dial of Doom took place next and it landed on Killshot meaning Killshot would get a Lucha Underground Championship Match with Matanza.

Lucha Underground Championship Match: Matanza w/Dario Cueto (c) def. Killshot to retain the Lucha Underground Championship. After the match a mystery man comes out wearing a black tank top, camo pants and dog tags around his neck (He is an independent wrestler named AR Fox) and enters the ring. Killshot looked shocked and said “Donte…you’re dead” and looked happy to see him alive and hugged him as Matt Striker mentioned on commentary that he was a brother in arms before the man attacked Killshot and stood tall over him and leaving his dog tags next to him.

After a commercial break. The Trios Champions (Fenix, Aerostar and Drago) came out to the ring for a match. Dario Cueto came out from his office and announced that in 4 weeks Aztec Warfare would return and because of Matanza beating everyone he decided to put Matanza in the match and make it for the Lucha Underground Championship. with Matanza being the first entrant and that the Trios Champions would be in a 3 way match with a “Unique Opportunity” on the line which would be the winner of the match gets to enter at number 20 but the 2 losers would not be allowed to enter Aztec Warfare.

Drago def. Fenix and Aerostar to enter the Aztec Warfare at number 20 while Fenix and Aerostar are denied entry. Awesome match.

After a commercial break there was a backstage segment with Kobra Moon and Drago where Kobra was pleased with Drago winning and told him that she expects him to win Aztec Warfare. Drago reveals that he left her tribe a thousand years ago and that he would never return and there was a funny moment after where a fat dude comes into the restroom eating a burrito saying “I thought this was the men’s room” and Kobra did her hiss and the fat dude ended up farting.

Another backstage segment happened afterwords when Johnny Mundo entered Dario Cueto’s office with a briefcase with Mundo saying that he needs to be Lucha Underground Champion to showthat he is the best. Also because he did not win the Dial of Doom and that Cueto had given PJ Black, Jack Evans and Taya Gift of the Gods Title Shots, he was a desperate man and that he had been saving something for a “rainy day” which is revealed to be the $100,000 that Johnny won all the way back in Season 1 in a 3-Way Ladder Match against Big Ryck (the former Ezekial Jackson) and Prince Puma but that the $100,000 was now $94,373 dollars because he had to “pay somebody off” and that he would give that up for a match with Sexy Starr for the Lucha Underground Championship which Dario agrees to give to him next week.

Main Event Prince Puma def. Mil Muertes w/Catrina in an awesome match.

The Show Ended with a segment somewhere else in Boyle Heights with Rey Mysterio talking with some one who was revealed to be Chavo Classic about going after Chavo Guerrero. This was to get revenge after Chavo the week before had brutally attacked Rey’s knee with a steel chair, as Chavo Classic seemingly gave his blessing for Rey to go and get revenge against Chavo Guerrero.
