Top 10 Longest WWE Title Reigns
10th) Hulk Hogan
– Days Held: 364 days.
This won’t be the first time that you see the legendary Hulk Hogan on this list. He won the title at Wrestlemania V against “Macho Man” Randy Savage. He would hold the belt for about a year before losing it to the Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania VI. This was a Champion vs Champion match with Hogan coming in with the WWF Title and Warrior as the Intercontinental Champion.

This was a passing of the torch scenario where Hogan raised the hand of Warrior after being defeated.
Tied For 8th) “Macho Man” Randy Savage
– Days Held – 371 Days
Randy Savage defeated Ted DiBiase in the tournament final at Wrestlemania IV to become champion. This was Macho’s first WWF Championship win.
He would hold the title for just over a year. During that time he was able to retain the title against One Man Gang, the Big Boss Man and André the Giant. This was also the time where the Mega Powers imploded. He and Hulk Hogan slowly turned from friends to enemies. This would lead to their Wrestlemania clash. He would eventually lose the title to Hogan at Wrestlemania V.
Tied For 8th) AJ Styles
– Days Held: 371 days
AJ Styles won the WWE Championship on the November 7th, 2017 episode of Smackdown in Manchester. Styles defeated Jinder Mahal on the episode to win the belt. You can watch the highlights here:
Styles’ reign included Title defenses against Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe, and Daniel Bryan.
Styles was defeated by Daniel Bryan on the November 13th, 2018 episode of Smackdown. This ended Styles’ reign at 371 days.
