The 2019 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony featured an unfortunate incident. Bret Hart was attacked by a fan during his speech. Fan footage showed that multiple people jumped in right away to protect Bret. That included Ronda Rousey’s husband and UFC Fighter Travis Browne, who got a few good shots in on the guy.
Other than getting a beating, we have a legal update for you on the guy who attacked Bret (notice how I am not saying ‘fan’, since no real fan would do that).
According to Arash Markazi of the LA Times, the attacker is getting charged.
Arash wrote the following on Twitter:
“I’ve been told Bret Hart’s attacker has been charged with 2 counts of assault in the 3rd degree and disorderly conduct”

On a related note, WWE issued a brief statement on the incident. You can read more about that here.
