Late Appearance Reportedly Forced Major Rewrites To RAW 25

Many fans were underwhelmed by RAW 25. The nostalgia was fun, but there was a feeling that WWE could have done a lot more with the legends that they had in attendance. Specifically, the returning Women and General Managers who were introduced and waved in separate segments.

A new report suggests that we have Jimmy Fallon to blame….. Seriously.

According to a report from Sports Illustrated, WWE was forced to do some major rewrites 3 hours before RAW 25. This came after Jimmy Fallon couldn’t arrive at the arena in time to do pre-tapes and segments with the WWE legends.

The report suggests that the original plans called for there to be some backstage segments with Fallon and some of the WWE legends throughout the night. This was reportedly changed to introductions and waves to the crowd after Fallon couldn’t make it on time.

As noted prior, the sexual assault allegations against Enzo Amore also forced his segment to be changed at the show.

If this report is accurate, it does make sense why RAW 25 was a bit of a mess.
