Shane McMahon announced Paige as the new General Manager of Smackdown Live this week. This came only one night after she officially retired from in-ring competition on RAW.
Lance Storm has an interesting idea for Smackdown Live after the news broke that Paige was the new General Manager.
Storm’s idea is Smackdown becoming an all-women’s show with Paige in charge. This would include a singles and a tag team division. Here is what he Tweeted:
Not that I’m saying they should do it, but with @RealPaigeWWE running #SDLive what if next week in the ShakeUp SD became an all womens show with a singles and tag division? đ¤

It is worth noting that Storm isn’t saying WWE should pull the trigger on the idea, just something fun to think about. Could this work right now? Would it be a smart decision to do an all-women’s show?
Let us know in the comment section.
I wouldnât mind testing it out… but the women must be made aware that the survival will be based purely on a business/ratings decision.
The WWE doesnât want to be accused of being sexist if the numbers arenât there. Because as history tells us, this is predominantly a male run industry.
But I would be for a nice 4-6 week long test period. Iâd watch.
