Kenny Omega put on an absolute classic match against Kazuchika Okada at Wrestle Kingdom 11. The match has been widely praised by fans who watched it, as one of the best matches of all time. Dave Meltzer rated the match 6 (not a typo) stars out of a possible 5.
Kenny Omega has been very outspoken as of late, especially about the WWE. Omega has said that the WWE Championship means nothing. He also has said that no-one in the WWE can have a better match than him.
He is making headlines again, after tweeting that he was “stepping away from Japan”:
I will be stepping away from Japan to reassess my future. The path of my journey may change, but my goals will not. pic.twitter.com/E4vDiGgAwe

@KennyOmegamanX there is no plan. My schedule is cleared and I’m weighing all options. I’ve a lot to consider. Thx for the patience/support

I am sure many WWE fans are imagining Vince McMahon and Triple H showing up with a dump truck full of cash to his front door after his match at Wrestle Kingdom. I personally believe that he is just taking some time away after that hard-fought match. I think he has made too many anti-WWE comments for me to believe he is jumping ship.
Regardless he is making headlines and many fans will believe that he is WWE bound. Smart move, Kenny.
He’s stepping away but didnt he say he wanted to take NJPW to new heights?
