John Cena Shows Us Why He Is An Amazing Human Being – Make-A-Wish Foundation

John Cena returned this Monday On RAW. For his efforts, he received a nice beatdown from AJ Styles and the rest of the Club.

John Cena became the first person in Make-A-Wish history to grant over 500 wishes for sick children back in 2015. Since then he continues to grant as many Make-A-Wish’s as he can. Cena takes his ‘Never Give Up’ slogan he uses in the professional wrestling ring working for the WWE and uses it to inspire many children fighting uphill battles. It appears that he is Superman in and out of the ring! Even though he holds the Make-A-Wish record, according to him it is not nearly enough. In a recent interview with Men’s Health, he explains working with the foundation and reminds us how amazing he is.

Here is what he said:

“That’s over 15 years, roughly 5,475 days. That means I’ve been idle for 4,975 days. I feel like I’m not meeting enough kids. The days I see a Make-A-Wish kid are the best days of the week. It’s a real privilege. I give them exactly what they give me—hope. It’s a day off from the normal struggle” (Men’s Health).

You can catch the full interview in the June edition of Men’s Health.

Love or hate his wrestling character, I think it is hard not to respect John Cena the human being. It seems like he genuinely loves doing this for children and making their days. Cena is a true role model for kids and I will always respect him for all that he has done.
