Seth Rollins and John Cena back during their feud from the Summer of 2015.
Seth Rollins and John Cena have been on-screen rivals over the past year on WWE TV. They have faced off in numerous matches and have had their share of bad blood (including Rollins breaking Cena’s nose). Both guys have shared some common ground over the past couple months as they have been rehabbing injuries. Cena has been out with a shoulder injury since January (not including his WrestleMania 32 return). Rollins blew out his knee on November 4th and has been rehabbing to get back ever since.
On Twitter, John Cena praised Seth Rollins and how hard he is working for his WWE return:
I have done my best to return to @WWE as fast as I can, but I hope people understand just how amazing @WWERollins recovery is #Respect #GG
— John Cena (@JohnCena) May 16, 2016
Considering Seth tore his ACL, MCL, and medial meniscus and is going to be returning soon (Seth Rollins rumored return date here) we have to give Rollins some credit. If you know Rollins, you know he is a Crossfit addict and a fitness freak. It doesn’t surprise me in the slightest that he is working ahead of schedule to return to the ring. Injuries like that can take anywhere from 6 to 9 months after surgery and he is around 6 right now.
Love seeing Cena give Rollins props. Can’t wait for them to both return to WWE TV. Love or hate either of their characters, I think most can admit that WWE TV is better with them on it! Let us know how you would book both of their returns in the comment section below!
